Fire safety work

Our survey and passive fire protection remediation work is provided by Airey Miller Surveys Ltd. Our contract administration team work with our own qualified fire engineers to remediate clients' buildings and ensure FRAEWs or EWS1 forms can be issued in accordance with regulatory requirements.

​Airey Miller are on the Homes England (HE) panel for approved FRAEW assessors, and are one of two approved (HE) consultants to audit grant applications for fire remediation grant.

Defects management – we have a dedicated customer care team that manage the resolution of defects arising during the contractual defects period. Our quality management system (QMS) ensures a consistent approach to recording, tracking and the closing out of defects. 

PFI reviews – we have the skills and experience to review private finance initiative (PFI) contracts and advise on liabilities once current PFI agreements expire. 

​Surveys – we provide a range of surveys reporting to clients the condition of their assets together with recommendations for repair, remediation or replacement work. We have heavily invested in technology to provide 3D scans of existing assets as well as external wall surveys via drones. We also have technology which provides Lidar remote mobile scanning equipment of existing assets as well as high-quality images and video footage of your buildings via the use of drones.

We have the ability to capture field data on-site via the use of our software applications using a tablet. All of these digital outputs can be delivered and issued through our common data environment (CHE) Viewpoint for projects which is the single source of truth and can generate the golden thread of information for our clients.
