London & Quadrant (L&Q) PAS 9980 Assessments and Remedial Works

L&Q's building safety team identified high-risk buildings where issues with the external wall were highlighted and the development remained within the 12-year liability period. We were instructed to undertake PAS 9980 on these.

Our role was monitor and report on fire stopping, assessing the condition of the external wall, and providing any evidence of poor workmanship in preventing the spread of fire. We were required to form a case against the original contractor, acting as an expert witness if necessary.

Our reports provided the relevant technical reviews and risk assessments needed and a fully costed report. This allowed our clients to make a fully informed decision as to how they could proceed.
