This project included 134 apartments across three blocks, with the highest being over 16 storeys. We were commissioned as employer’s agents and cost consultant, delivering the project on a tight urban site.
Due to abnormal costs, viability was an issue. Following an abortive two-stage PCSA approach, we saved over £9 million. This was achieved through collaborative value engineering between the contractor and design team.
